Turn right out of our front drive and follow signs to Beaulieu, about four miles away.
Drive over the bridge, and past the Montagu Arms Hotel. Avoid the left turn into the High Street and continue past the garage on your left. At the T junction turn left towards Lymongton and Brockenhurst.
Continue up the hill and after about a mile fork left signposted to Lymington. You will see Hatchet Pond on your right. Continue along this road for about three miles till you reach a crossroads in the heath. Turn right there, aiming for Pilley and Boldre. The road is narrow and winds about a lot. Be vigilant, not only for other cars but also for roaming animals.
The Fleur de Lys comes into view on the left after about a further two miles; then the road dips towards the Lymington River. Cross the bridge and shortly afterwards you will see the Red Lion on your left. There is a spacious car park to the left of the pub.
