"You are welcome to enjoy your meal by the river. It's just not practical for us to reserve tables outside because of the changeable English weather, so it is best to arrive early if you want to take advantage of this unique setting.

"We try not to be pretentious, preferring instead to be informal and friendly, but we are still totally committed to quality and service.

"I suppose the best part of all is the river and rambling gardens, home to a family of Ducks. Salmon, Trout and Perch are abundant in the river and you are more than welcome to fish. We have a visiting Heron most mornings and if you are lucky you might even spot a Kingfisher!"
