This popular wine bar opened in 1982.

The extensive menu has fifteen mainly fishy starters including calamari, prawn with avocado or smoked salmon, mussels and scallops. On the day we looked there were forty main choices and specials. Guests enjoyed wild boar at Hobbits earlier this year.

Allow about £20 for two courses, plus wine.
